Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service aim to prescribe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between notionto.email (hereinafter 'Company') and users, and other necessary matters related to the use of the service (hereinafter 'Service') that converts Notion pages to email format provided by the Company.

2. Definitions

  • Service: The online service provided by the Company that converts Notion pages to email format
  • User: Members and non-members using the Service provided by the Company under these Terms
  • Member: A person who accesses the Service, agrees to these Terms, and uses the Service provided by the Company
  • Account: An email address selected by the member and approved by the Company for member identification and service use
  • Content: Notion pages and email content converted through the Service

3. Effect and Amendment of Terms

These Terms become effective for all users who wish to use the Service.

The Company may amend these Terms when necessary within the scope that does not violate relevant laws, and the amended Terms become effective by posting them on the Service screen or notifying users by other means.

If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you may discontinue using the Service and terminate the usage contract. If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, you are deemed to have agreed to the amendment.

4. Provision and Changes to Service

The Company provides the following services:

  • Convert Notion pages to email format
  • Send daily workspace update emails
  • Individual page sharing functionality
  • Email open and click statistics
  • All other services that the Company additionally develops or provides to users through partnership agreements

The Company may change the content of the Service, and will notify users through the Service screen when making changes.

5. Use of Service

In principle, the Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there are special business or technical difficulties for the Company.

The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in the following cases:

  • Maintenance, inspection, replacement, failure of information and communication facilities, or interruption of communication
  • When unavoidable due to construction for service facility maintenance
  • When there are other force majeure circumstances

6. Member Obligations

Members must not engage in the following acts:

  • Registering false information when using the Service
  • Misappropriating others' information
  • Unauthorized alteration of information posted by the Company
  • Transmitting or posting information other than that designated by the Company (such as computer programs)
  • Infringing on copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company and third parties
  • Acts that damage the reputation of or interfere with the business of the Company and third parties
  • Publicly disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to public order and morals
  • Using the Service for commercial purposes
  • Other illegal or unjust acts

7. Obligations of Service Provider

The Company will not engage in acts prohibited by laws and these Terms or contrary to public order and morals, and will strive to provide the Service continuously and stably as prescribed by these Terms.

The Company must have a security system in place to protect personal information (including credit information) so that users can use the Service safely, and must disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy.

The Company must process opinions or complaints raised by users in relation to Service use if they are deemed justified.

8. Privacy Protection

The Company strives to protect users' personal information as prescribed by relevant laws. The Company's Privacy Policy applies to the protection and use of personal information.

9. Attribution and Restrictions on Copyright

Copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Company belong to the Company.

Users may not use for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use information to which the Company holds intellectual property rights among information obtained by using the Service without the Company's prior consent, by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods.

Copyright for posts published by users within the Service belongs to the author of the post.

10. Compensation for Damages

The Company is not liable for any damages incurred to members in relation to the Service provided free of charge, except for damages caused by the Company's intentional or gross negligence.

11. Disclaimer

The Company is exempt from liability for providing the Service when unable to do so due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.

The Company is not liable for service use disruptions due to members' fault.

The Company is not liable for members' loss of expected profits from using the Service, nor for damages from data obtained through the Service.

The Company is not liable for the reliability, accuracy, and other aspects of information, data, and facts posted by members.

12. Dispute Resolution

The Company establishes and operates a damage compensation processing organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to handle damage compensation.

The Company will prioritize handling complaints and opinions submitted by users. However, if prompt processing is difficult, the Company will immediately notify the user of the reason and processing schedule.

In case of user damage relief requests related to e-commerce disputes between the Company and users, mediation by dispute resolution organizations referred by the Fair Trade Commission or city/provincial governors may be followed.

13. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Lawsuits concerning disputes between the Company and users shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
